Dr. Galante has been practicing pain management in South Florida for 10 years. After graduating with honors from UCLA, he went to medical school at University of California at San Diego. He completed his Anesthesiology Residence at Drexel University in Philadelphia and attended a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Rush Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Galante has a double Board Certification in anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Galante has trained with the top physicians in Pain Management where he learned how pain is caused and transmitted to our brains. This allows him to understand the specific source or sources of pain triggers and how to quiet them down or help eliminate them. Several techniques are available to both diagnose and eventually treat specific sources of pain.
Dr Galante spends time with you to identify possible trigger areas to then draw a plan to confirm and treat them. Some of the tools available to identify pain triggers are a focused physical evaluation and targeted tests using the latest technology to isolate the pain sources.
Once the area and mechanism of action of the pain is established some treatments may involve specific exercises, medications, and procedures focused on immediately alleviating your pain and start your path to recovery and full function.
